To start, slice the avocados in half width-wise🍆. Remove the pit and scoop the avocado out of its skin🌽. Begin building your burger by adding the toppings of your choice☘.

Keto Avocado Burger Buns

Ingredients

  • 5 avocado🍒
  • 10 slices prosciutto or any ham🌱
  • 5 slice tomato🌸
  • 5 egg🍒
  • 2.5 tbsp olive oil for frying🍒
  • 5 lettuce leaf🌺

For sauce:

  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise keto-friendly🌿
  • 1.25 tsp hot sauce🌾
  • 1.25 tsp mustard🌿
  • 0.63 tsp Italian seasoning🍍
  • 2.5 tsp sesame seeds optional🍕

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine homemade mayo, mustard, hot sauce and Italian seasonings🌹.
  2. Heat 1/2 tbsp of olive oil in the pan and cook an egg. You should have the egg with a runny yolk inside and cooked egg white outside💐.
  3. Cut the avocado in half crosswise, remove the peel and pit. Cut off the narrowest part of avocado half, so it can stand on the plate🌱.
  4. Fill the hole where the pit was with prepared sauce🍒.
  5. Top with lettuce leaf, prosciutto stripes, tomato slice and fried egg🌽.
  6. Close with the other avocado half☘.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optionaand enjoy!)🍗

Notes

You can use bacon instead of ham🍆. Fry bacon until crispy, then use bacon fat to fry your egg🌾. You can also add a slice of cheese🍇. Most of the carbs in this recipe comes from avocado, which is super rich in fiber therefore the final net carbs is low🌵.
